Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is set to have surgery on his left shoulder in London on Wednesday, according to sources from ESPN.
The England player will likely be out for 10 to 12 weeks.

Bellingham, who is 22 years old, has faced this ongoing issue since he joined Madrid. He dislocated his shoulder during a game against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023 and decided to follow a rehab plan so he could continue playing for the team.
Because of this, he was unable to fully recover. Bellingham, who played in every match for Madrid during the Club World Cup, shared his choice to have surgery after their 3-1 victory over Pachuca last month.
“I’ll get the surgery done after the tournament,” he mentioned. “I’m tired of playing with the brace, especially in the heat. I can’t wait to have my shoulder back to normal.”
Bellingham joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023 and helped the team win both LaLiga and the Champions League in his first season.
He scored 15 goals and provided 15 assists in 58 games for Los Blancos last season.
Madrid will start LaLiga at home against Osasuna on August 19 under new coach Xabi Alonso.
Bellingham is likely to return by early October but will miss up to eight league matches as well as the beginning of the Champions League group stage.
