Liverpool turned down a €67.5 million (£58.6m) offer from Bayern Munich to acquire forward Luis Díaz, according to a source who spoke with ESPN.
Last season, Díaz had the best year of his career at Liverpool, netting 17 goals across all competitions and playing a key role in helping Arne Slot’s team win the Premier League title.
The 28-year-old player has two years remaining on his contract and is rumored to be leaving Anfield, becoming one of Bayern’s main targets.

On Tuesday, the German club made a formal offer.
However, Liverpool quickly turned it down and is still clear that Díaz is not for sale this summer.
This is the second time in just a few weeks that Liverpool has pushed back against interest in Díaz, having also rejected an inquiry from Barcelona earlier this summer.
It would probably require a large offer for the team at Anfield to think about changing their decision.
