Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has expressed his desire to conclude his basketball journey in his home country of Greece once his NBA career ends.

The two-time MVP, now entering his 13th season with the Bucks, is under contract through the 2026-27 season. Speaking on ANT1’s The 2night Show, the 30-year-old Athens native shared his plans, saying, “I’m 30 years old, I can play in the NBA until I’m 36-38. I’d like to end my career in a Greek team, why not? I don’t want to live in the United States. As soon as I leave the NBA, I want to return to Greece.”
Antetokounmpo, who began his professional career with Filathlitikos in the Greek B league before being drafted in 2013, mentioned potential teams like Filathlitikos, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, or Aris as possible destinations to close out his career.
