Former Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker Suspended 10 Weeks by NFL

The NFL has suspended former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker for 10 weeks at the start of the 2025 season due to a violation of its personal conduct policy, the league announced Thursday.

Tucker, who is currently a free agent, is allowed to serve the suspension without being on a team. If signed before the suspension begins on August 26, he may still participate in training camp and preseason games. He will be eligible to return on November 11.

The suspension follows allegations from 16 massage therapists who claimed Tucker engaged in sexual misconduct between 2012 and 2016, during his early years in the NFL. These accusations came from therapists at eight different luxury spas and wellness centers around Baltimore, as reported by The Baltimore Banner.

As the league investigated the claims, the Ravens released Tucker on May 5, ending their time with the most accurate kicker in NFL history. At the time, Tucker had three years left on a four-year, $22 million deal, making him the league’s highest-paid kicker.

Tucker, 35, has denied the allegations, calling them “completely false” and dismissing the Banner’s article as sensationalism. His agent, Rob Roche, said Thursday that while they disagree with the NFL’s decision, Tucker is accepting the punishment to move forward with his career.

Reactions from the massage therapists involved were mixed. One expressed disappointment, saying a 10-week suspension doesn’t compare to the lifelong trauma they face. Another said the suspension offered some validation, but still called it “the bare minimum,” noting she had to quit her job because of the incident.

Lawyers representing many of the therapists criticized Tucker for refusing to admit guilt and instead attacking the accusers, calling his behavior harmful and unacceptable.

Tucker, a seven-time Pro Bowler and the last remaining player from Baltimore’s 2012 Super Bowl-winning team, had his worst NFL season last year, hitting just 73.3% of his field goals—ranking near the bottom of the league.
