The Pittsburgh Steelers and safety DeShon Elliott have reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension worth $12.5 million, with $9.21 million guaranteed, as confirmed.
At 28 years old, Elliott stood out as one of the Steelers’ top run defenders last season. He recorded 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 4 tackles for loss, and a total of 108 combined tackles.
NFL Network was the first to report on this deal.
Elliott was a sixth-round pick and played his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions before spending one year with the Miami Dolphins.
Before the start of the 2024 season, the Steelers signed Elliott as a free agent for a two-year contract. In his career, he has made 395 tackles over 72 games.
