Thunder’s Isaiah Hartenstein sidelined again with calf injury

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein is set to miss time after suffering a second left calf strain this season.

Hartenstein was sidelined for Monday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks after leaving Sunday’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers late in the third quarter.

The Thunder did not provide a timeline for his return. Hartenstein previously missed six games after straining his soleus muscle on November 26, before making his comeback 17 days later.

The 26-year-old has been productive this season, averaging 11.2 points and a team-leading 10.4 rebounds for the reigning champion Thunder, who hold the NBA’s best record at 27-5.

Oklahoma City’s frontcourt has also been impacted by injuries, with backup center Jaylin Williams missing his seventh straight game on Monday due to right heel bursitis.
