Everton has officially finalized the acquisition of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea, as reported by the club.

This transfer concludes a rather disappointing season for the 26-year-old in west London.
After joining Chelsea from Leicester City in July 2024 for £30 million ($39.8 million), Dewsbury-Hall only made two appearances as a starter in the Premier League last season.
Nevertheless, he did contribute to Chelsea’s triumph in the Club World Cup held in the United States this summer, where he netted his sixth and final goal for the team against Flamengo during the round of 16.
Dewsbury-Hall marks Everton’s sixth acquisition of this transfer period, joining newcomers Thierno Barry, Carlos Alcaraz, Adam Aznou, and Mark Travers.
“I’m truly thrilled, and my family shares in that excitement. There’s a palpable energy surrounding this. It feels like the right fit for me,” stated Dewsbury-Hall.
“This alone fuels my motivation and drives my determination to showcase my abilities, prove myself, and have a truly successful tenure here.”
“Everton is among the largest clubs in the nation, and I believe the future looks promising over the coming years. Ultimately, it was a straightforward choice to come here and represent this club.”
“Just look at the stadium – it’s magnificent. Of course, I’ve played in every Premier League venue, and this one stands out as one of the most impressive, which is a very significant factor in my decision to join.”
The club from Merseyside will kick off their season against Leeds United at Elland Road before hosting their first Premier League match at the newly constructed Hill Dickinson Stadium against Brighton on August 24.
