Liverpool has turned down an offer from Bayern Munich for winger Luis Díaz and plans to keep the Colombian player this summer, according to sources speaking to ESPN.
Last season, Díaz had his best year with Liverpool, scoring 17 goals in all competitions and helping Arne Slot’s team win the Premier League title. The 28-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract and has been rumored to be leaving Anfield.
However, sources informed ESPN that Bayern’s director Max Eberl has been told that Liverpool does not want to discuss a transfer after Bayern showed interest in the player.
This is the second time in a few weeks that Liverpool has made this decision, as they also turned down interest from Barcelona earlier this summer.
Sources say the club will not consider any more offers for Díaz and insists that he is not for sale.
