Keion White isn’t afraid to share his thoughts, and that can be a positive thing. He recently pointed out a significant change this season: “Now, I feel like I have a coach.”
This statement is pretty straightforward, and it wouldn’t surprise me if other players agree with him. The Patriots are now on their third head coach in as many years after Jerod Mayo’s brief time in charge. In 2024, Keion White performed well, recording five passes defended, two forced fumbles, five sacks, seven tackles for loss, and 16 QB hits.
His strong performance as a defensive end suggests that White might really excel in his third year, especially since he will be playing under Mike Vrabel, a defensive expert who also has ties to the New England Patriots.
Hiring Vrabel was a smart move for the team, and de facto GM Eliot Wolf also brought in plenty of talent needed to revive this franchise. They had one of the most successful runs in sports history over the past 20 years at the start of this century.
