Henry Arundell called up by England after Top 14 stint finishes

Henry Arundell has been called up to the England squad again.

England has called up winger Henry Arundell, who is set to join Bath, in preparation for the summer internationals.

Arundell is now part of the England training squad after playing last season with Racing 92 in the Top 14.

Although the RFU usually does not select players based abroad for the national team, Arundell’s time at Racing 92 has ended, and he has signed a contract with Bath for the 2025-26 season.

With Arundell, who is 22 years old, back in the mix for England’s selection, coach Steve Borthwick quickly included him on the team.

Arundell has earned 10 caps for England and scored seven tries, including five against Chile during the 2023 Rugby World Cup. He started his rugby career at London Irish and moved to Racing 92 in 2023 when London Irish faced financial issues.

After two seasons in the Top 14, he will join the Gallagher Premiership finalists next season.

Arundell will participate in training ahead of their match against a France XV on June 21. Following that, England will head to Argentina for two Test matches before competing against the USA in Washington D.C.
