At Friday’s press conference, Darnell Mooney spoke with D. Orlando Ledbetter from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution about being just eight yards away from the 1,000-yard mark in 2024. He made it clear that his goal in Atlanta isn’t to rack up receiving yards but to achieve victories.
“I didn’t really come here [to Atlanta] for 1,000 yards. I came here to win,” Mooney said, as reported by Ledbetter. “So for anyone who thinks that’s my main goal as a receiver, that’s not true. I’m here to win games.”
