Hazlewood climbs to the third spot on the Purple Cap list.

Josh Hazlewood made an impressive comeback after his injury, taking three wickets and skillfully breaking apart PBKS’s batting lineup with his precise bowling and swing.

His performance at the beginning of the innings not only left PBKS struggling but also moved him back into the top three of the Purple Cap rankings. With 21 wickets in 11 innings, he has climbed to the No. 3 position.

Noor Ahmad from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) leads the list with 24 wickets, while Prasidh Krishna from Gujarat Titans follows closely behind with 23 wickets.

Additionally, Trent Boult of Mumbai Indians, who has taken 19 wickets and is ranked fourth, will play in the Eliminator on Friday.

In a match against New Chandigarh, RCB’s Virat Kohli managed to score just 12 runs, bringing his total to 614 runs over 14 matches. He remains in fifth place on the Orange Cap leaderboard.

There were no changes at the top; B Sai Sudharsan from Gujarat Titans leads with 679 runs, followed by Shubman Gill with 649 runs and Suryakumar Yadav from MI with 640 runs. All three players will be competing on Friday.

Mitchell Marsh from Lucknow Super Giants finished his season with 627 runs and holds the No. 4 spot.
